300 SERIES DIMENSIONSHEIGHT

Dimension 'A' 815mm, is the height to the working surface. If the stove is to be matched to adjoining standard kitchen units at 910mm, then a plinth will need to be constructed of 95mm thickness. If the Rayburn is to be free-standing and a lower height is preferred , then there is no reason why the stove cannot stand at normal floor height.
Dimension 'B' 845mm, is the height to the small upstand at the rear of the top-plate.
Dimension 'C' 1260mm is the minimum clearance needed for the insulating lids to open. Obviously considerably more distance is required to allow for comfortable handling, particularly where the stove is installed in a recess, when a further 100mm is desirable. Don't forget to add the thickness of any plinth or hearth used, onto these dimensions.
WIDTH

Dimension 'A' is the basic width of the Rayburn, and the size that any hearth or plinth should be constructed, whilst 'B' includes the overlap of the top plate. An additional 10mm should always be added to allow for the natural variations in the castings.

When planning a recess for the Rayburn there are other factors to be taken into consideration. Solid fuel models 300W, 345W and 355SFW requires a gap of 150mm on the left for servicing access and if installed adjacent to combustible materials there must also be 150mm to the right. If the right hand wall is non-combustible then this can be zero.
If any stove is installed adjacent to a right hand wall which extends beyond the front of the stove, then additional clearance will be required to permit the oven doors being opened beyond 90 degrees.
DEPTH
- Dimension 'A' is the base measurement, and to which any hearth or plinth should be constructed.
- 'B' is the distance front to back, including the overhang of the top-plate.
- 'C' is the extra distance of the hand-rail.

WATER PIPE CONNECTIONS
- Dimension 'A' is from the rear of the stove to the centre line of each tapping.
- 'B' is the distance between the stove base and the centre of the bottom tapping.
- 'C' refers to the distance apart, centre to centre between each tapping.

FLUE PIPE CONNECTIONS

- Dimension 'A' is the height from the base of the stove to the start of the flue pipe.
- 'B' is measured from the right hand side of the stove to the centre line of the flue pipe.
- 'C' is the flue pipe diameter. The Rayburn flue spigot is designed to accept cast iron flue pipe, which is the preferred material. Steel pipe may be used, but its thinner walls and hence smaller outside diameter will require additional packing.
- 'D' is the distance from the rear of the stove to the centre line of the flue pipe.
- Under certain circumstances it is possible to utilize a rear, horizontal flue connection, with its centre line at 'E' 905mm
